G’day Folks,

2025 is coming to a close, and I hope you’ve all managed to spend quality time with your friends and family over the holidays, and take a break from the charts.

One thing is for sure, Bitcoin volatility has been on a holiday, because the price has gone absolutely nowhere for the last three weeks, trading in a 5% range for the last two weeks.

For the first time in many months, I have finally found the time to sit down with a large roll of podcasts and articles, and start consolidating my thoughts about the macro and liquidity conditions we find ourselves in.

Today’s post is going to be a review of my current thinking on everything from policy conditions, precious metals and commodities, interest rates, the US dollar, and how I see 2026 shaping up for Bitcoin.

My goal is to highlight some of the deeper trends that defined 2025, aiming to set the table with grounded expectations for the new year.

🎊 🎉 The Checkonchain team wish everyone a very safe and happy new years eve, and we will see you on the flipside!
