June Subscriber Q&A: Pricing Models, Market Cycles & Big Sellers
I spend a lot of time around Bitcoin data, and am a big believer in trusting your gut instincts. Today I share my honest views about the market cycle, including big sellers, Mt Gox, and price models.
G’day folks!
Welcome to the June Q&A session, and thanks to all our paid subscribers for positing your questions for the month. These sessions are often very free flowing, and often come more from the perspective of Check the HODLer, with a side of Check the Analyst.
I like to share my full and honest opinion about topics with our paid subscribers, and these Q&A sessions are some of my favourite to record for this reason.
Premium subscribers will find the full 45min video at the bottom of this post.
In today’s session, we cover some big topics and events, including:
Big Sellers and the impact of Mt Gox coins, Government sellers, Cash-and-carry traders, and miners. I explore how I consider ‘whale activity’ in my analysis. I would strongly recommend folks check out last month’s Q&A session also, as I went even deeper into this topic in May.
Pricing Models for Tops which is a regular topic, and one I enjoy providing clarity on. I prefer not to anchor on a specific price, date, or model, but instead seek points where ‘topping behaviour’ starts to manifest.
Understanding Cyclical Patterns including drawdowns, onchain metrics, and similar periods in the past.
My Honest Opinion about this Bull Cycle the last section of this QA I really enjoyed recording. I am a big fan of trusting your gut and instinct, and I believe my subconscious does a lot of the thinking for me. So I share my truthful view over the 2023-24 cycle, and the prospects of it being over…or just starting up.
Enjoy folks, and as always, please let me know if you have any more questions, and have a great weekend.
